Air Force Men’s Tennis Falls At Omaha, 4-3

Air Force men's tennis fell to Omaha 4-3 in a non-conference dual Sunday at the Miracle Hill Tennis Center in Omaha, Neb. The Falcons dropped to 9-7 on the season.

The Falcons found themselves down 3-0 early and were unable to complete the rally. After the first two singles setbacks, the Falcons won the next two to pull to within one at 3-2. Omaha was able to take the dual with a win at No. 2 singles.

Air Force lost the doubles with losses at No. 1 Singles by Patrick Sklenka and Tadgh Collins 6-2 and at No. 2 singles by Isaac Perez and Jamie Bautista 6-2.

The Falcons opened singles play with losses by Robert Baylon at No. 5 singles to Matt Dunn, 6-3, 6-1 and at No. 4 singles by Collins against Hugo Piles Ballester 6-4, 6-3.

Air Force rallied with wins at No. 6 singles by Mack Galvin over Ethan Henry 7-6 (7-0), 6-4 and Sklenka at No. 1 over Abdoul Ouattara 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.

Omaha took the match as Luke Sanderson lost at No. 2 singles to Nathan Reekie 4-6, 6-4, 6-2. Paul Hendrix finished the day with a win at No. 3 singles over Davis Lawley 3-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-2.

Air Force returns to action March 15, hosting Montana State.
