
Air Force Men’s Tennis Falls At Nevada, 4-3

Air Force men's tennis fell at Nevada 4-3 in a Mountain West dual Saturday at the McArthur Tennis Center in Reno, Nev. The Falcons dropped to 9-8, 0-2 on the season.
The Falcons played its fourth-straight 4-3 dual, having been just edged in the past three.
Air Force held a 3-2 lead, but Nevada won the final two singles matches to take away the win from the Falcons.
The Falcons opened with a pair of doubles wins to take the doubles point. Paul Hendrix and Jamie Bautista won at No. 2 singles over Matvey Radionov/Jonathan Aremon 6-4 and Patrick Sklenka and Tadgh Collins won at No. 1 doubles over Julien Evrard and Kostya Nesterenko 6-4.
In singles, Nevada won the first two matches to jump ahead 2-1. Jordan Azuma fell at No. 6 to Radionov 7-5, 6-4 and Luke Sanderson fell at No. 2 to Kostya Nesterenko 6-3, 6-4.
The Falcons stormed back with wins at No. 5 and 3 singles to go back up 3-2. Mack Galvin won at No. 5 singles over Gvida Motuzas 7-5, 6-3 and Hendrix won at No. 3 over Aremon 7-5, 7-6 (7-3).
Nevada rallied to take the dual with wins at No. 4 and 1 singles. Collins fell at No. 4 to Daniel Dudockin 7-6 (10-8), 6-4 and Sklenka fell at No. 1 to Evrard 6-2, 4-6, 6-4.
Air Force returns to action April 5 at Utah State.
