Air Force Men’s Tennis Downed At Utah State, 4-1

Air Force men's tennis fell at Utah State 4-1 in a Mountain West dual Friday afternoon at the Utah State Outdoor Tennis Courts in Logan, Utah. The Falcons dropped to 9-9, 0-3 on the season.

The Falcons led 1-0 early after taking the doubles point. It was all Utah State the rest of the way out, as the Aggies went 4-0 in singles to pick up the win.

The No. 2 doubles duo of Paul Hendrix and Jamie Bautista defeated Matvey Radionov/Jonathan Aremon 6-4 and the No. 3 duo of Mack Galvin and Isaac Perez defeated Sergiu Bucur/Duro Opacic 6-2 to get the doubles point.

The Falcons took losses at No. 1, 3, 5 and six singles. Patrick Sklenka dropped his No. 1 singles match to Isaac Arevalo Gómez, 6-4, 6-0. Paul Hendrix fell at No. 3 to Felipe Acosta 6-4, 6-3. Galvin dropped the No. 5 match to Rithvik Bollipalli 6-3, 6-3 and Jordan Azuma fell at No. 6 to Opacic 6-3, 6-0.

Air Force returns to action April 7, at Boise State.
