Partnership with Anheuser Busch to bring exciting changes
Air Force athletics announced this week a major corporate partnership, along with a number of other important improvements to enhance the football fan experience in and around Falcon Stadium, as the Falcons head into the 2019-20 season. Air Force, with the help of the Air Force Sports Properties team, has established a partnership with Anheuser Busch (AB) for 2019-20. The AB partnership will make Bud Light and Breckenridge Brewery the official beer and craft beer of Air Force athletics.
Falcon fans will see new assets used in Falcon Alley and in Falcon Stadium to expedite the beverage lines in addition to more craft beer options on game days.
"We are thrilled to announce an exclusive sponsorship with Anheuser Busch," Air Force Director of Athletics Nathan Pine said. "They are a leader in the industry and will help enhance fan amenities in our venues. They are committed to doing things the right way and will help us promote the safest atmosphere to enjoy Falcon athletics. This partnership, along with the other additions, will greatly improve the experience for our fans."
Additionally, fans visiting Falcon Stadium will have access to ADA accessible elevators on the south end of the stadium to better travel between levels two and three. ADA parking will remain the same as last year with hard-surfaced parking in the front of Lot 3 and a shuttle will be added to transit over to the elevator area. Handrails have also been improved and new landscaping installed as part of the overall $4.8 million project.
Air Force athletics has also partnered with Tailgate Guys, the nation's leader in premium tailgate and event services. This new engagement will allow Air Force fans, and alumni to simplify and streamline their game day experience through a variety of turnkey reserved tailgate package options that include premium locations, tents, chairs, tables, coolers, and other tailgating essentials.
Falcon Athletic Fund supporters will experience a hospitality tent that will be located on the south concourse above section L27 for those contributing to the Excellence in Athletics Fund at the Captain Level and above. The tent will include catered food and drink, televisions and heaters during late season games. Fans wishing to find out more about the year-round benefits offered to those who generously support our cadet-athletes, may stop by the table in front of the tent or email giving@airforceathletics.org.
Air Force fans will also have a new outlet to listen to Air Force football this season. In addition to flagship station KVOR AM 740 and Denver affiliate The Fan 104.3 FM in Denver, all Air Force games will be broadcast world-wide on the American Forces Network. AFN can be heard in 168 countries and will reach nearly 400,000 service members, DoD/State Department civilians and families.
Game Day Traffic Note
Fans are reminded that traffic entering the North Gate will be directed to Lots, 3, 4, 5, 5A, and 6. Vehicles entering from the South Gate will be directed to Lots 1, 2, and 2A. Outbound traffic from Lots 1, 2, 2A, and 3 will all be sent through the South Gate.
