Junior Lenny Petersen, senior Randy Meneweather, and junior Cody Surratt all competed in day two in the vaunted "bloodround" with a chance to win and finish in the top eight of their respective weight classes. However, all three were felled in the round, and finished just outside the podium.
As a team over the two-day event, Air Force totaled 36.5 points, to finish 17th in the 25-team field.

PINS ON PINS ON PINS: After the first half NCAA Division I wrestling action, Air Force has been one of the most dominant teams on the mats when it comes to pinning opponents. AF has 35 pins against D1 competition, which is the eighth-most of any other D1 team thus far.
