CADET SQUADRON 02
IN HER WORDS:
(During the summer), I came back (to the Academy) to take Philosophy for three weeks and then I participated in the Powered Flight program. This program allows cadets who are pursuing a pilot slot to have some experience in the air. The program allows four flights in a T-53A, which is a training aircraft allowing two passengers, the cadet and an instructor. My experience was so fun, especially because I flew with my AOC for two of my flights. On one of my flights, we flew around Pikes Peak and near the Royal Gorge!
I want to be a pilot after graduation. I want to travel the world as much as possible.
(During the pandemic), I have learned that uncertainty can be challenging. The best thing to do in times like these are to continue to develop yourself into the person you want to be. COVID-19 gave me extra time with my family at home and it allowed me to pursue different hobbies, like painting. I have also learned that nothing is guaranteed. I have gained much more appreciation for the little things that I took for granted before the pandemic began.

HEAD COACH KEITH BARNETT: Jordan puts forth so much effort. She provides critical points when serving to close out sets, and is an aggressive defender – willing to sacrifice her body to get it done. She takes care of her business off the court, while looking after others and promoting the 'team first' attitude we've needed since her commitment in 2015.
