In his own words:
This summer I had the opportunity to experience the Powered Flight program at our on-base airfield. During the class, I was able to obtain 5 hours of flight time in becoming familiar with the flight procedures related to the T-53. It was an awesome experience to fly above campus, Colorado Springs & Denver in addition to performing 'touch and goes' at local airports. It affirmed my interest in wanting to fly for the Air Force.
After graduation my hope is to receive a pilot slot.
The Covid-19 pandemic has helped me prioritize the things in my life that are most important to me. I've also learned that it's difficult when you're not in control of your environment. 2020 has taught me to rely on others, assist others when I can and continue to move forward.
2019 – Played in six games … part of an offensive line that led the conference and ranked second nationally in rushing with a 298.5 per-game average … offensive line allowed just four sacks, the fewest sacks in the nation … Air Force led the conference and ranked second nationally in third-down percentage with a 53.5 mark … the Falcons led the Mountain West and ranked second nationally in time of possession with a 34:28 mark.
2018 – Did not see any varsity action.
2017 – Did not see any varsity action.
High School – Lettered three years in football, two in baseball and one in track … first-team all-state as a senior in football … earned second-team honors as a junior … two-time all-region selection … twice named Anthony Munoz Foundation Lineman of the Year … earned the That's My Boy Award by the Cincinnati Chapter of the National Football Foundation … high school football coach was Mark Mueller.
Personal – Son of John and LeeAnn Noyen … has one sibling … majoring in human factors engineering … member of cadet squadron 39 … would like to attend pilot training after graduation … completed Operations Air Force and was on the cadet leadership cadre for Basic Cadet Training in the summer of 2019.
