Air Force Downed By Seattle Sunday At Men’s Vegas Bubble

LAS VEGAS - Air Force men's basketball (1-1) dropped a 63-45 contest to Seattle (3-0) at the Men's Vegas Bubble at T-Mobile Arena Saturday afternoon. Freshman Glen McClintock led the Falcons with 11 points.
Big runs to start the game and to start the second half helped lift the Redhawks to the win. A 12-0 run in the first half had the Falcons down 17-3 six minutes into the game. Air Force rallied back to make it a two point game at the half at 27-25. The Falcons out-scored Seattle 22-10 over the final 14 minutes of the first half to get back into the game.
The momentum was quickly quelched to open the second half, as Seattle took control of the game with a 13-0 run to take a 40-26 lead six minutes in.
The Falcons shot 40 percent from the field and 30 percent from three-point range. McClintock added five rebounds and two assists to his 11 points. He also led the Falcons with three three's.
Sophomore forward Nikc Jackson and senior forward Keaton Van Soelen scored nine points each. Jackson pulled down a team-high six rebounds and Van Soelen added four boards.
Junior guard AJ Walker scored five points and junior forward Abe Kinrade added four off the bench. Freshman Joseph Octave made his collegiate debut in reserve, playing two minutes.
Riley Grigsby led five Redhawks in double-figures, scoring 13 points. Seattle made 11 three's on the day and shot 42 percent from the field.
Air Force returns to action Saturday, Dec. 5, in its home-opener, hosting Lamar.
