Playing Hawaii our first year in the WAC -- talk about an eye-opening experience! We were a good (NCAA Division II) team, but when we had to transition to DI, we were woefully outmatched. It was amazing to see the team pull together and celebrate our successes on the court, even if they weren't a win.
After graduation, what do you miss most about the volleyball team:
The support from the girls on the team that made getting through the Academy possible. You could always count on them.
Quote/Advice for the volleyball team:
Enjoy playing and never lose your love of the game.
Is there anything else you want to share:
If you ever have the chance to represent the Air Force playing volleyball--do it! The experience is even better than playing for the Academy.
