Men’s Tennis Dropped By Denver

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis fell to Denver 4-0 Friday night at the indoor tennis courts. The Falcons fell to 5-2.

Highlighting the day for the Falcons was its No. 1 doubles duo of Jamie Bautista and Paul Hendrix, defeating the 21st-ranked duo of Matt Summers and James Davis 6-2.

The Falcons dropped the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches to allow the Pioneers the point. Jordan Azuma and Justin Waldman fell to Mattia Ros and Pedro Fernandez Del Valle 6-3 at No. 2. Mack Galvin and Alex Krawietz fell to Daniel Krulig and Ignacio Rivero Crespo 6-3 at No. 3.

Denver went on to win singles at No. 3, No. 2 and No. 1. Azuma fell at No. 3 to Ros 6-1, 6-4. Galvin dropped his match at No. 2 to Davis 6-4, 6-4. Hendrix fell at No. 1 to Summers, 7-6, 6-1.

Air Force returns to action Feb. 16, hosting Idaho State.
