Air Force Fencing Hosts Western Conference Regional

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force fencing hosts the 2020 Western Conference Regional this Saturday, March 7, in the Cadet Gym.
Air Force will have 18 competitors slated to participate for an NCAA Championship slot across three weapons in men's and women's competition.
In addition to Air Force, Incarnate Word, Stanford and UC San Diego compete in the regional.
"It's really hard to predict how we will do for the regional," Air Force head coach Omar Elgeziry said. "It is such a unique event and I am very proud of what we have done so far. Our season was long and competitive and we are prepared very well for this event. I am very excited for this weekend end and I can't wait to see our cadets surprise themselves. GO FALCONS!"
Admission is free for all attendees. Spectators will be required to enter the Academy through the North Gate and are advised to park by the Cadet Fieldhouse on the East and Southeast side. Entrance to the Cadet Gym will be by the outdoor tennis courts, which is West of the Southeast parking lot.
Results and NCAA qualifiers will be announced upon the completion of competition.

9:00 am - Men's Epee (Strips 1-3)
9:00 am - Men's Foil (Strips 5-7)
9:00 am - Men's Sabre (Strips 9-10)
12:00 pm - Break
1:00 pm - Women's Epee (Strips 1-3)
1:00 pm - Women's Foil (Strips 5-7)
1:00 pm - Women's Sabre (Strips 9-10)
