Air Force athletics is partnering with Paranoid Fan beginning with the 2020 season to enhance the fan experience in Falcon Stadium, according to an announcement today from Director of Athletics Nathan Pine.
Paranoid Fan is a global, multi-purpose mapping and delivery platform that uses maps to not only drive mobility around live experiences but also serve as a full-scale concessions delivery and pickup service for venues. On game day, users will be able to utilize an app with maps to find concessions, discover activation sites and even order food to their seat. Maps will also give turn-by-turn directions to all gates.
"We aggressively look for ways to improve the game day experience at Air Force events and are extremely excited to be partnering with Paranoid Fan," Pine said. "Their technology will allow fans the flexibility to streamline activities and enhance the live event experience in a number of ways."
"The Paranoid Fan team is looking forward to deploying our venue technology to the Air Force Academy's Falcon Stadium. Partnering with Air Force is a milestone we are extremely proud of," said Agustin Gonzales of Paranoid Fan.
Paranoid Fan works with over 200 properties around the United States, Europe and Latin America. The company's platform is also seeing significant traction in the NFL (Raymond James Stadium, Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins), NHL, and NCAA (Oregon, South Carolina and Texas).
The idea of Paranoid Fan originated at the 2014 World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Paranoid Fan is a graduate of the prestigious Techstars Connection program in New York City and is venture-backed with funding from Techstars and ZX Ventures, the venture capital arm of the beer conglomerate, AB InBev.
