Reed comes to the Academy from the University of Washington where he was senior associate athletic director. Reed will be the men's basketball administrator in addition to other duties when he begins at the Academy, Oct. 12.
"We are thrilled to welcome Shondell Reed and his family to the Academy," Pine said. "His impressive wealth of experience as a senior level administrator will be invaluable to our organization. "I have admired the fine athletes and future leaders at our service academies for years, and I am excited to contribute to the long legacy of athletic excellence at the Air Force Academy," Reed said.
