Career Accolades: 2009 MVP...named Mountain West Player of the Week in 2009 – becoming the first Falcon to earn the conference's weekly award in six years...four-time MW Scholar-Athlete and academic all-conference selection...CoSIDA Academic All-District selection in 2008...played in a (then) Air Force Division I-record 397 sets...still ranked fourth on program's DI Top 10 in hitting (fourth: .213), total blocks (sixth: 245), assisted blocks (seventh: 205) and solo blocks (eighth: 40).

List of jobs/accomplishments in the Air Force:
Grad School, Pilot Training, T-38 Instructor Pilot in the 71^st Fighter Training Squadron (Adversary squadron for the F-22s at Langley AFB), F-22 B-Course, F-22 Flight Lead in the 27^th Fighter Squadron (FS). I have over 200 combat hours in the F-22 flying in support of Operations Inherent Resolve and Spartan Shield. Our squadron got a no-notice deployment last year and we were able to get 12 jets and over 300 personnel down range in less than a week.

Favorite Hobbies:
Cycling, Sailing, Reading, and the occasional pick-up volleyball game.

While at USAFA, what was your favorite thing/memory with the volleyball team:
Our spring break trip to Italy. We played some amazing teams from Croatia, Germany, and Italy! We got to experience the culture and meet some awesome volleyball players.

After graduation, what do you miss most about the volleyball team:
All of my classmates! We had such a strong 2011 class of volleyball players. It's been wonderful watching everyone grow in their careers and family life, but it's all been long distance. I miss my teammates!

Advice for the volleyball team:
There is no substitute for hard work and teamwork. Everything else in your life and career will work out well if you are a team player that's willing to put in the effort.
