Azuma Posts Perfect 3-0 Weekend To Lead Air Force at Wolf Pack Invite

Air Force men's tennis completed day three competition Sunday at the Wolf Pack Invitational, hosted by the University of Nevada at the McArthur Tennis Center. Senior Jordan Azuma led the way by winning his respective singles flight, posting a perfect 3-0 weekend.

Azuma capped a perfect weekend, rallying back in three sets to down Marchand Ambroise of Nevada 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.

It was a tough Sunday otherwise for the Falcons, as they were unable to get it going in the other singles matches. Freshman Luke Wolf finished runner-up in his flight with a 6-1, 7-5 setback to Cory Pham of UC Davis. Wolf had a strong weekend, going 2-1 in singles play.

Freshman Arjun Kersten fell in three sets to Andraz Necz of UCD 7-5, 1-6, 6-3. Senior Robert Baylon fell to Matheo Coupo of Nevada 7-6 (2), 6-1. Junior Jonathan Mascagni dropped his match to Ryan Torres of UCD 6-4, 6-3. Junior Just Waldman fell to Daniel Dudockin of Nevada 6-2, 6-2. Freshman Kyle Garner dropped his match to Brett Brinkman of UCD 6-1, 7-5.

Air Force wraps up the fall slate and returns to action in January for the 2022 duals season.
