Air Force to Face Nation's Elite at Wisconsin

The Falcons will face numerous nationally-ranked squads at the prestigious meet on Friday, Oct. 15.
The Air Force cross country team, which includes the 30th-ranked men, closes out the regular season this Friday (Oct. 15), when it travels to Madison, Wis., for the prestigious Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.
MEET INFORMATION
The Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, presented by Under Armour, will be held on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course, which is adjacent to University Ridge Golf Course. The women will compete in a 6K race, while the men will follow with an 8K race. The "B" races will kick off the day at 11:00 a.m., while the Championship races are slated to begin at 12:20 p.m. (CT). The meet will be streamed live on RunnerSpace, through their subscription service, while live results will be provided by Prime Time Timing (direct links to both can be found on the schedule page at GoAirForceFalcons.com).

SPECTATOR INFORMATION
There is no spectator parking at Zimmer, University Ridge or along the roads surrounding the course – all fans should park at Blackhawk Church (9620 Brader Way) in Middleton. Parking is available on the upper level behind the church and a shuttle will provide transportation to-and-from the cross country course. Shuttles will begin at 9:00 a.m., and conclude one hour after the final race has finished. Please note: due to a shortage of drivers, a limited number of shuttles will be available and fans are encouraged to arrive early and be prepared for longer wait lines.
MEN DEBUT IN USTFCCCA TOP 30
The men debuted in the top 30 of the USTFCCCA Division I National Coaches' Poll on Oct. 5 – capturing its first national ranking of the year. The Falcons, who received votes during the first four polls of the year, tied with Charlotte for 30th (22 points). It is the 36th-straight week that Air Force's men have been mentioned in the national conversation (either ranked or receiving votes) – a program-best streak that dates back to the opening poll of the 2017 season.
THE NEXT COURSE
The postseason begins for Air Force on Friday, Oct. 29, when the Falcons travel to Albuquerque, N.M., for the 2021 Mountain West Cross Country Championships.
