Stevenson Claims MPSF Gymnast of the Week

Air Force junior Daija Stevenson (Atlanta, GA) was tabbed MPSF Gymnast of the Week after compiling a 38.575 all-around at the six-team Gym Quarters Invitational meet (Feb. 12). Stevenson scored 9.575 on the vault and balance beam, 9.650 on uneven bars, and matched the best Falcon individual score of 9.775 on floor. Her balance beam score helped Air Force match its season-high total in the event (48.575), while her floor routine lifted the Falcons to their season-best (48.650). This is the sixth career MPSF weekly award for Stevenson, including four-straight as gymnast of the week.
