PITTSBURGH, Pa. – On Monday morning, the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association named Air Force junior Maggie Slife a WCGA All-American.
Slife, scoring First-Team All-America honors on bars and as an all-around gymnast, is the first Falcon women's gymnast to ever earn WCGA status and just the second Mountain West competitor to be named to the award.
In Division I collegiate gymnastics, First Team All-America is awarded to the top eight finishers, plus ties, of the NCAA regular season for all four events plus the all-around. Second Team honors belong to the ninth through sixteenth place finishers, plus ties, of the NCAA regular season for all four events including the all-around. Slife closed the 2026 regular season ranked eighth nationally on bars (9.940) and seventh in the all around (39.565).
Of the 86 Division I gymnasts tabbed to the honor, Slife is only one of two athletes who made the list from a non-Power Four institution (SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Big 12) and is the only such to earn the honor in her two categories.
Air Force Women's Gymnastics faces Nebraska in the opening round of the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional on Wednesday at 1 p.m. MT on ESPN+ at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, La.
