USAF ACADEMY, Colo. -- Air Force junior gymnast Maggie Slife claimed academic all-district honors for the second-straight year this morning (June 16), as the College Sports Communicators announced its list of honorees for the 2025-26 season.
Slife, who holds a 3.60 GPA in behavioral science, is coming off a stellar junior campaign, where she became the first gymnast to represent the Academy at the NCAA Championships. Repeating as the Mountain West Gymnast of the Year, the Oconomowoc, Wis., native finished the 2026 season as the top-ranked gymnast across all four events and was the conference's Specialist of the Year on each apparatus. Setting the MW Record in the all-around three times, Slife was a WCGA Regular Season (first team) and Post Season (second team) All-American.
The women's academic all-district at-large team includes student-athletes from beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, water polo, and wrestling. To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, the individual must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) and meet sport-specific criteria determined by the CSC.
