FORT WORTH, Texas – Junior Air Force gymnast Maggie Slife was named a Second-Team WCGA Postseason All-American as an all-around gymnast, the organization announced last week.
The distinction was awarded to top-performing gymnasts based on results in both semifinal sessions of the 2026 NCAA Championship. The top four finishers on each event and in the all-around were named as First Team All-America honorees, while scores ranking fifth through eighth were good for a Second Team nod.
Slife, finishing seventh as an all arounder last Thursday in the second session of the national semifinals (39.4250), stands as the first Air Force gymnast to ever receive the honor.
About the WCGA:
The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association is a membership-led, professional association representing the nation's intercollegiate women's gymnastics coaches within Division I, II & III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
