Men’s Tennis Wins At Weber State, 5-2

Air Force men's tennis (3-4) won a 5-2 match at Weber State (4-5) Sunday morning at Edman Courts in Ogden, Utah.

The Falcons swept the double competition and went 4-2 in singles play for the win.

Paul Hendrix and Jamie Bautista won at No. 1 doubles over Michiel Van Schoor and Bo-Han Li 6-1. Robert Baylon and Jordan Azuma then won at No. 2 over Sebastian Buxman and Arthur Serafim 7-6 (7-3).

In singles, the Falcons won the first three matches to go up 4-0 and take the match. Azuma won at No. 6 by default for the first point. Baylon won at No. 4 over Li 6-4, 6-2. Sean McKendree clinched the win at No. 5, downing Brendan Barr 7-5, 6-3.

The Falcons went up 5-0 as Justin Waldman came back to win at No. 2 over Serafim 4-6, 6-4, 10-4. Jonathan Mascagni fell at No. 3 to Van Schoor 7-5, 2-6, 10-6. Paul Hendrix fell at No. 1 to Buxman 4-6, 6-4, 10-4.

Air Force returns to action March 19 at Metro State.
