
Ferguson, Laufenberg, Silvanic sign as NFL Free Agents

All three agree to terms, pending contract approval
Air Force senior offensive linemen Parker Ferguson and Nolan Laufenberg and senior defensive lineman George Silvanic all signed as 2021 National Football League free agents today. Ferguson has signed with New York Jets, Laufenberg with the Denver Broncos and Silvanic with the Los Angeles Rams. All three have agreed to terms, pending contract and Secretary of Defense approval.
Air Force finished the COVID-shortened 2020 season with a 3-3 overall record. The Falcons finished fifth in the Mountain West with a 2-2 mark. Air Force won the program's second national rushing title with a 305.7 per-game average, leading the conference for the fourth straight season. The Falcons also led the conference in third down conversions (48.5) and time of possession (32:30). The defense was among the top units in program history, finishing third nationally in scoring defense with a 15.0 average. The 15.0 mark is the best at the Academy since 1997.
