NEW ORLEANS – The Air Force men's cross country team is ranked No. 12 in the latest edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Division I National Coaches Poll, which was released this afternoon (Oct. 4).
The Falcons, who have been off from competition since a Top 10 performance at the Cowboy Jamboree on Sept. 24, accumulated 211 points for this week's No. 12 ranking. It is the 43rd-straight poll where the men have been mentioned in the national conversation (either as a ranked team or one that is receiving votes) – a program-best streak that dates back to the opening poll of the 2017 season.

The Falcons are off from competition until Friday, Oct. 14, when they travel to Madison to take on some of the nation's elite at the annual Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.
