Diving takes to LA for Trojan Invitational

This upcoming weekend will mark the first diving-specific event for the Falcons, as Air Force travels to the campus of USC to compete at the Trojan Diving Invitational.
Divers from Air Force, USC, UCLA, Cal, Fresno State, UNLV, Pepperdine and CBU will compete on all three specialties. Results will be available at divemeets.com.
Action Friday begins with men's 1-meter and women's 3-meter prelims at 12 PM MT with finals starting at 1:15 pm MT. Saturday features women's platform and men's 3-meter with 12 PM MT prelims and 1:15 PM MT finals. Saturday will also feature a first-ever team event from 2:40-3:00 PM MT. Sunday's men's platform and women's 1-meter begins at 12 PM MT, with finals at 1:25 PM MT.
Alex Kenyon has remained Air Force's most consistent presence on the boards, as he ranks second in the Western Athletic Conference in average optional score (49.92) in the one-meter dive. His average optional score in the three-meter is best in the conference (52.61).
Erik Pfaffenbichler ranks 5th in the WAC with an AOS of 41.28 in the one-meter and is 8th in the conference in the three-meter, averaging 40.51.
The divers will rejoin their teammates when Air Force travels to Texas A&M to compete at the Art Adamson Invitational on the campus of Texas A&M with action starting Wednesday, November 16.
