Air Force concludes time at Art Adamson Invitational

COLLEGE STATION, Texas- The Falcons finalized competition at the Art Adamson Invitational on Friday, as the Falcons placed sixth out of the six teams in College Station.

Senior Wen Zhang maintained his torrid pace, finishing third in the 100Y Freestyle. His time of 42.80 resets his previous Air Force record, solidifying the fastest time in the event in program history.

Gharret Brockman and Gabriel Bartolomei each improved on their times in the 200Y Backstroke. Brockman reset his season-best time with a finish of 1:48.38, while Bartolomei's time in the preliminary round of 1:49.14 now stands as his strongest finish this season.

Anthony Sebastian paced Air Force in the 200Y Breastroke, placing 13th in the event. Sebastian bested his previous season-best time by nearly seven seconds, swimming to a 1:59.47.

Grant Afman led the Falcons to a 17th-place finish in the 200Y Butterfly after touching out at 1:49.77.

Next, Air Force will participate in the U.S. Open in Greensboro, N.C. starting Wednesday, November 30.
