
Matthew Dapore, Caleb Rillos named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Football Team

Sophomore kicker Matthew Dapore and junior tight end Caleb Rillos have been named to the 2022 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Dapore has a 3.5 grade point average and is majoring in systems engineering. Rillos has a 3.89 GPA and is majoring in mechanical engineering.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
Voting for the Academic All-America football teams begins today at noon ET and closes Tuesday, December 6, at 11:59 pm ET. All CSC members are eligible to vote on the ballots in their division. To vote, go to www.collegesportscommunicators.com/awards.
