Air Force Takes Down Conference-Leading Nevada, 4-1

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis defeated Nevada, 4-1, in Mountain West action Sunday afternoon at the USAFA Outdoor Tennis Courts. The Falcons handed the first-place Wolf Pack (15-7, 3-1 MW) its first loss in MW play, improving to 13-8, 1-3 MW.

The 13 wins also tied for the most in the Dan Oosterhous era at Air Force, which spans the last 13 seasons.

The Falcons opened by taking the doubles point and went 3-1 in singles play for the win.

In doubles, the Falcons won at No. 1 and No. 3. Robert Baylon and Jordan Azuma won at No. 1 over Coupu/N'Tcha 6-4. Justin Waldman and Nick Vroman clinched the doubles point with the win at No. 3 over Dudockin/Batalla 6-4.

In singles, the Falcons won the first three matches at No. 1, 4 and 3.

Baylon won at No. 1 over Maheo Coupu in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4. Vroman won at No. 4 over Satchel Brown in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. Arjun Kersten then clinched at No. 3, winning in straight sets over Delman N'Tcha 6-4, 7-5.

Air Force returns to action Saturday, April 16, at UNLV.
