Vroman and Kersten of Air Force Men’s Tennis Sweep MW Weekly Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis swept the weekly Mountain West Weekly honors for competition during the week of April, 4-10. Sophomore Nick Vroman earned MW Player of the Week and Arjun Kersten earned MW Freshman of the Week honors.
Vroman went 3-0-1 on the weekend with a pair of doubles wins and a singles win. He led the team with two wins in the win over previously unbeaten Nevada. Won 6-3 at No. 3 doubles against Boise State and 6-4 at No. 3 doubles against Nevada. Defeated Milo Benn of Nevada at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 6-3. Did not finish against Boise State, but led 1-6, 6-3, 3-2 in the third set.
Kersten earned his second MW Freshman of the Week honor for the falcons, going 2-0-2 with clinching singles win against Nevada and clinching doubles with against Boise State. Won at No. 2 doubles against Boise State, 6-4 and led 6-5 in unfinished match against Nevada. In singles, defeated Delmas N'Tcha of Nevada at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 7-5 to clinch match. Did not finish in match at No. 3 against Boise State, but split sets 6-7, 6-3.
