Brad Roberts named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week

Air Force senior fullback Brad Roberts earned Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts in Air Force's 48-20 win over Nevada Sept. 23. Roberts rushed for 123 yards on 20 carries and tied his career high with three touchdowns for the second time this season. He had a long run of 27 yards and averaged 6.2 yards per carry. His 100-yard game is his third this season and the multiple-touchdown game is his second. Nine of Roberts' carries went for first downs or touchdowns. Roberts moved into third in program history in career 100-yard games with his 12th. Air Force improved to 11-1 when he has a 100-yard game.

The honor is the second for Roberts this season, as he also earned the honor in Air Force's win over Colorado earlier this season. Roberts has won the award three times in his career. His first came in 2020 in a win over New Mexico.

Roberts leads the Mountain West and is ninth nationally in rushing with a 116.2 average. He has rushed for 465 yards and seven touchdowns on 68 carries and is averaging 6.8 yards per carry, which leads the MW and ranks 11th nationally. Roberts ranks second in the conference and 10th nationally in scoring with a 10.5 average.
