Air Force returns home for weekend competition

Last Time Out
-Both the men's and women's swimming and diving programs traveled to the University of Hawaii on January 6, as the Falcons restarted the 2022-23 season against the likes TCU, Tulane, and the hosting Rainbow Warriors.
-The men dropped both duals against Hawaii and TCU, while the women picked up a head-to-head win over Tulane.
-The dual scores were as follows:

-Wen Zhang won both the 100 Free (44.24) and the 200 Free (1:37.41), marking the lone individual wins for the Falcons.
-In the 50 Free, Matthew Lattin shared a tie for third with a time of 20.99.
-Tory Bartlett raced to a third-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke, clocking in at 57.18. Right behind Bartlett was Anthony Sebastian whose time of 57.53 was good for fifth.
-Grant Afman swam well in the 100 Fly, as his time of 50.90 placed him fourth. Andrew Armbruster placed fifth behind Afman after touching out at 50.90.
-Corbyn Cormack nabbed a second-place finish in the 200 IM, ending the race with a time of 2:06.57. Cormack also finished third in the 100 Fly after timing out at 57.14. Kai-Min Tsuei finished third in the 100 Backstroke as she concluded her swim with a time of 57.09.
-Abby Turner placed fourth in a hotly-contested 50 Free, ending the race with a time of 24.01.

Following this weekend's events, both the men's and women's swimming programs will remain in Colorado Springs to prepare for a quad meet at the Cadet Natatorium. Competition between Air Force, BYU, Seattle, and Colorado Mesa will begin Friday, January 20 at 5:00 pm MT.
