
Falcons wrap up Air Force Invite

USAFA, Colo.- Air Force placed third among the four teams on the final day of the Air Force Invitational, accounting for 450 team points.
Wen Zhang claimed a first-place finish in the 200 Free, winning the race with a time of 1:38.23, more than three seconds ahead of the runner-up.
Zhang, as well as Grant Afman, John Plutt, and James Winterfield placed second in the 400 Free Relay, touching out at 3:04.55. Matthew Lattin went wire-to-wire in the 100 Fly, finishing second by three-tenths of a second after clocking in at 49.81.
Alex Kenyon was again a high-placer on the boards, placing third with a score of 299.30 in the platform dive.
Camden Swigart managed a third-place conclusion to the 400 IM, as the highly-contested race saw the Falcon swim to a time of 4:14.98.
Next, Air Force will stay home for the Colorado Sprint Championships on Saturday, January 28.
