Senior safety Trey Taylor named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week

Senior safety Trey Taylor was named Mountain West defensive player of the week for his efforts in Air Force's 34-27 win over Wyoming Oct. 14.
Taylor recorded a season-high 10 total tackles, just one off his career high, and a game-high seven unassisted tackles. He added a tackle for loss for 12 yards, which came on first down and forced Wyoming into second and third-and-long, forcing a punt on the possession, which was the only possession for the Cowboys is a decisive third quarter and helped Air Force keep momentum after just taking the lead, 24-21, for the first time in the game.
