
Falcons drop close one to No. 2 TCU

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The second-ranked TCU Horned Frogs claimed a close win over seventh-ranked Air Force, 4735-4721, Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Cadet Rifle Range.
Despite the loss, the Falcons posted the fifth highest aggregate score (4721) and the fourth-highest smallbore (2342) in school history.
Junior Lauren Hurley was the top Falcon, placing third overall with an 1186. Senior Morgan Kreb and junior Scott Rockett tied for fourth at 1180. Hurley placed third in smallbore (589), followed by Rockett (588) and Kreb (586). In air rifle, Hurley shot a 597, followed by Peninah D'Souza (595) and Kreb (594).
The Falcons are back in action against Army and Navy at the annual President's Trophy, Nov. 4, in West Point, N.Y.
