The next installment of the Air Force women's tennis' fall slate brings them to a storied venue in the history of our armed forces, as the Falcons collide with fellow service academies at the Army and Navy Club in Washington D.C., Friday through Sunday.
About the Army and Navy Club:
The Army and Navy Club has been a prestigious home away from home for the most illustrious names in America's military and political history. The Club is a private, members only, Five Star Platinum Club on Washington, D.C.'s historic Farragut Square. Valued by members as a distinguished landmark where traditions and camaraderie reign, the Club's timeless elegance and atmosphere are complimented with fine dining, delightful accommodations, an exceptional library, and special events designed to benefit all members.
The club, founded over 138 years ago in 1885, opened initially as the United Service Club and changed its name to the Army and Navy Club shortly thereafter.

The Falcons enter the weekend with some momentum under their feet after collecting a number of wins at the ITA Mountain Regional; Freshman Nadia Kojonroj led the way, going 2-1 on the weekend and earning the first and second victories of her intercollegiate career; junior Alexis Odom and freshman Giovanna Sanchirico both added their first singles wins of the fall in straight-set fashion. In doubles, Odom, pairing with senior Isabella Flodin and Kojonroj/Arianna Van Houweling picked up a pair of victories, with Van Houweling improving to 4-2 with three separate partners.
