
Falcons conclude second day of Art Adamson Invite

COLLEGE STATION- Air Force finalized the penultimate day of competition at the Art Adamson Invitational, as the Falcons took part in numerous swims on Thursday.
Coach Clayton's squad opened the afternoon with the 200 Medley Relay, as the foursome of Joseph Moore, Tommy Nagle, James Winterfield, and Chase Dwornicki placed eighth with a time of 1:30:77.
As well, Moore placed sixth in the 100 Butterfly finals, clocking in at 48.83. Nagle qualified for the final swim in the 100 Breaststroke, as his 55.15 earned him a seventh-place standing. Winterfield was the highest placer for the Falcons in the 200 Freestyle, touching out at 1:39.35.
Louis Body swam to an eighth-place finish in the 100 Backstroke, as the sophomore timed out at 50.65 in the event's concluding swim. The reigning WAC champion in the 400 IM, Camden Swigart's 3:52.75 in the aforementioned race saw him place sixth.
The evening wrapped up with the 800 Freestyle Relay, where Swigart, Winterfield, Gavin Peterman, and Joe Christ compiled a time of 6:38.96.
Following the second day of swims in College Station, the Falcons sit fourth among the four teams with 308.00 points.
Next, Air Force will see its time at the Art Adamson Invitational come to an end, as Friday's last day of competition will begin with preliminaries at 8:30 am MT and final swims resuming at 4:30 pm MT.
