Falcon Wrestling Takes the Fight to the Navy Classic

The Falcons compete on two fronts as the main contingency heads to Annapolis, Maryland, to battle for titles at the Navy Classic. The preliminary rounds will begin at 9 a.m. ET, followed by the semifinals at approximately 2:30 p.m. Championship matches are expected to start at 4 p.m. The tournament will have team scoring.
A second contingent will head to Nebraska-Kearney to compete for titles at the UNK-Younes Hospitality Open. Action is slated for 9 a.m. CT.
FOLLOW ALONG
Navy will not be providing a live stream for the event; however, fans can follow along on FloArena. Live results for the UNK-Younes Hospitality open will be provided on Track Wrestling.
IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Four Falcons have numbers in front of their names heading into the third week of the season. Wyatt Hendrickson remains at No. 2 heading into the NWCA All-Star Classic, November 21. Senior team captain Sam Wolf checks in at No. 26 in the 184 division according to Intermat. Wolf made the jump up from 174 this season. Sophomore Tucker Owens is 23/22 in Intermat and Flo, respectively, while senior 165-pounder Giano Petrucelli is 25/26 in Intermat and Flo, respectively.
As a team, Air Force is ranked 22nd in both Intermat and FloWrestling tournament power rankings.

Nicco Tocci, Kole Biscoe, Logan Attisano, Bubba Wright, Trason Oehme, Reagan LeFevre, Jake Doone, Drake Buchanan, Dany Asongkeng Tanefeu, Ty Ryan, Andrew Wenzel, Owen Heiser, Soren Herzog, Antonio Ramos, Peyton Hahn, and Jackson Dewald.
Teams scheduled to attend include Air Force, American, Bloomsburg, Bucknell, The Citadel, Cleveland State, Davidson, Edinboro, Kent State, Lock Haven, Navy, Nebraska, Ohio, and Princeton.

Wyatt Hendrickson will represent the Falcons at the NWCA All-Star Classic, Tuesday, November 21 at the Penn State campus. After a short holiday break, Air Force will take its top-10 to the prestigious Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite, December 1-2.

Air Force heavyweight and team captain Wyatt Hendrickson won a title for the Falcons at the 44th Annual Navy Classic in Wesley A. Brown Field House at the U.S. Naval Academy. Eight Falcons placed in their respective divisions, highlighted by three finalists and an Tucker Owens' upset of Anthony Noto.
LAST TIME OUT
When the dust settled in Varsity Gym, Air Force had three champions out of five finalists and seven placers at the Mountaineer Invitational, hosted by Appalachian State on Saturday (Nov. 11) afternoon. Tucker Owens, Giano Petrucelli and Sam Wolf returned to the Academy with championship titles.
