Air Force Hosts Santa Clara In Regular Season Finale

This Week:  (RV) Air Force (17-14 overall, 1-4 WCC) hosts Santa Clara (11-13, 1-4 WCC) in its home and regular-season finale on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Cadet Natatorium.  The game begins at 3 pm MT.  Live video and stats will be available for the game.
Final Home Game For Four Seniors:
Its is the final home game for the Air Force senior class of 2023-24. The class consists of Ian Christie, Sam De La Cruz, Cole Kopperud and Joey Schell.
 
Series History vs. Santa Clara
Air Force leads 45-17. In the last meeting, Air Force fell to #16 Santa Clara 16-15 in overtime in the opening round of the WWPA Championships on Nov. 18.
LAST TIME OUT: Air Force went 1-2 over three games played last weekend. The Falcons dropped a twol-score game at #18 Pacific, 14-12, on Friday and lost a one-goal game Sunday at #16 Cal Baptist, 15-14. The Falcons won their Saturday game at UC Merced 18-6.
Leggett Sets AF Freshman Scoring Mark
Tom Leggett surpassed the 100 point mark against Brown, setting a new freshman scoring record at Air Force and became the first-ever freshman at Air Force to surpass the 100 point mark. He currently leads the WCC with 104 goals and 131 points. He is second in the nation in goals scored and third in total points.

Inaugural season in WCC: Air Force joins the West Coast Conference in 2023, the first year the conference is sponsoring men's water polo. The Falcons join WCC member institutions, Loyola Marymount, Pacific, Pepperdine and Santa Clara, along with fellow affiliate members California Baptist and San Jose State. The Falcons previously played in the Western Water Polo Association from 1987-2022.
