Air Force Head Coach Troy Calhoun, along with junior wide receiver Brandon Engel and senior outside linebacker Bo Richter talked with the media today about the Armed Forces Bowl. The Falcons take on James Madison Saturday, Dec. 23, at 1:30 p.m. MT.
Air Force is playing in its seventh Armed Forces Bowl (2007, 08, 09, 12, 15, 22, 23), the most appearances in any bowl in school history. The seven appearances are the most by any team in the bowl's history. Air Force is playing in its 30th bowl game overall. The Falcons are 15-13-1 all-time.
Air Force has won four straight and five of its last six bowl games. This is Air Force's 10th bowl overall and third straight in the state of Texas. Air Force is 2-4 in bowl games at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth.
