
Falcons make waves to end First Chance Invite

DENVER, Colo.- Air Force did well in its final tune-up before the WAC Championships, as the Falcons again swam to success in the concluding morning of the First Chance Invitational.
Stephen Zanowic began the morning with a win in the 100 Free, winning the race with a time of 45.34.
Joseph Moore was the victor in the 200 Back, paving the way with a tie of 1:47.99. Louis Body placed third (1:49.86) while James Winterfield finished fourth (1:49.86).
The Falcons were the only side to enter swimmers in the 200 Breaststroke, as Tommy Nagle bested his teammates with a time of 2:04.88.
Wen Zhang swam to a win in the 100 Fly with a time of 47.64. Andy Armbruster finished second after touching out at 49.67.
Air Force will now prepare for the WAC Championships when the Falcons head to Pharr, TX for the February 22-25 event.
