Two Falcons named All-Conference on Day Three of MW Championships

HOUSTON, Texas- The Falcons made serious impact on the Air Force record book on Friday, as Coach Murphy's squad saw a number of individual success at the CRWC Natatorium

Corbyn Cormack and Hanani Dona each qualified for the championship race in their respective event, as the two earned All-Conference honors by doing so.

Cormack finished seventh in the 100 Fly after timing out at 53.90, just a few moments short of her own school record in the event (53.57).

Dona's standout freshman season now includes a time of 4:20.54 in the 400 IM, placing her sixth in the event's final swim. Dona's time now sits as the third-fastest time in Air Force history.

Another freshman, Kai-Min Tsuei, placed 10th in the 100 Back after her qualification into the consolation finals, where she swam to a time of 54.65. Tsuei's time was the second-fastest in the 100 Back in program history.

Abby Turner (200 Free) and Shayla Markle (100 Fly) wrote their names into Air Force history as well. Turner's 10th-place standing in the 200 Free was the result of a time of 1:48.98, the fifth-best time in the event in Falcons history. Now owning the school's fifth-quickest swim in the 100 Fly, Markle accomplished the feat after a time of 54.83.

Cormack, Tsuei, Kara Gavin, and Raquelle Roesch swam as the Falcons 200 Free Relay team, placing eighth after clocking in at 1:34.14.
