Air Force in fifth at PRC Championships

The Air Force rifle team sits in fifth place after the smallbore competition on the first day of the Patriot Rifle Conference Championships, Saturday, Feb. 4, in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Alaska, ranked second in the nation, won the smallbore competition with a score of 2365. No. 1 TCU was second (2360), followed by No. 6 Nebraska (2348), No. 11 Ohio State (2339), No. 7 Air Force (2333) and UTEP (2265).
Junior Peninah D'Souza and sophomore Scott Rockett were the top Falcons at 585. Morgan Kreb shot 581, followed by Lauren Hurley (579), Jordan Williams (577), Dante Aletto (573) and Victoria Leppert (567).
The PRC Championships conclude with the air rifle competition on Sunday, Feb. 5, starting at 10 am AT (Noon MT) in Fairbanks, Alaska. Live scoring will be available at MegaLink.
