No. 68 Air Force men's tennis fell to #75 Northern Arizona, 7-0, in non-conference action Friday night at the NAU Tennis Center in Flagstaff, Ariz.
The Falcons dropped the doubles point, falling 7-6 at No. 2 and 6-3 at No. 3. The No. 1 group of Justin Waldman and Nick Vroman held a 6-6 tie at No. 1 before the point was clinched.
In singles, the Falcons went to three sets in three matches. Arjun Kersten fell in three sets at No. 2 to Facundo Tumosa 4-6, 6-2, 6-2. Waldman fell in three sets at No. 3 to Piotr Galus 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. Phillip Deaton dropped his first-career singles match in duals competition, falling at No. 4 to Dominik Buzonics 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Air Force returns to action Sunday, March 12 at Grand Canyon. Competition begins at 11 am MT.
