Air Force Fencing Travels To NCAA West Regional and MPSF Championships

Air Force fencing competes in a pair of events over the weekend of March 11-12. The Falcons compete Saturday at the NCAA West Regional Qualifier and on Sunday, compete in the second-annual Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Fencing Championships.
Saturday's event takes place at the Ford Center and Sunday's competition takes place at the Burnham Pavilion, both on the campus of Stanford University in Stanford, Calif.
Live results will be available for Saturday's competition. A live video stream will be available for the MPSF Championships (fee required) Sunday.
"Our cadets have prepared for both events (West Regionals and MPSF championships)," head coach Omar Elgeziry said. "It's hard to anticipate what will happen as it's a unique tournament but I'm excited to see our fencers fighting hard and gaining another amazing college fencing experience this weekend. It will be exciting and fun competition for us! Let's fence and Go Falcons!"
