USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis dropped a 4-1 home contest to Drake (11-9) in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at the USAFA Outdoor Tennis Courts. The Falcons dropped to 11-5 on the season.
Drake won the doubles point and went 3-1 in singles.
Leading the way for Air Force was sophomore Arjun Kersten at No. 1. Kersten earned a win over a ranked opponent, taking down #125 Jeremy Schifris in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.
Air Force also won at No. 1 doubles, as Justin Waldman and Nick Vroman defeated Matic/Jarvis 7-5. Drake took the point with wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles.
The Bulldogs also won at No. 2, 4, and 5 singles to pull out the win.
Air Force looks to turn the page quickly as it hosts New Mexico tomorrow, beginning at noon MT.
