
Park is top Falcon at Augusta Invitational

U.S.. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Sophomore Christopher Park led the Air Force golf team at the 44th Augusta Haskins Award Invitational, Sunday, April 2, at the Fox Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.
After an opening round 76, Park shot a 74 in the second round and a 76 in the final round. In Sunday's final round, he played his final seven holes in two-under-par. His 54-hole score of 226 tied his season best. Sophomore Cameron Kahle shot 233, followed by senior Isaac Layne (235), freshman Ted Davenport (243) and freshman Brooks Morrell (246).
Florida, ranked 12th in the nation, won the tournament with a three-round score of 825 (-39). No. 6 Illinois was second (837, -27) and No. 22 Virginia was third (840, -24). Air Force was 15th with a 933.
The Falcons will close out the regular season against Army and Navy at the Commander-in-Chief's Cup, April 17-18, in Gainesville, Fla. The Mountain West Championships are April 28-30 in Tucson, Ariz.
