Peninah D’Souza named All-American

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force junior Peninah D'Souza earned Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association All-America honors for the second time in her career. With a sixth-place finish in air rifle at the NCAA Championships, D'Souza was named honorable mention for the 2022-23 season.

At the NCAA Championships, D'Souza qualified for the finals in air rifle with a 596. Her sixth-place finish was the highest by a Falcon this season. D'Souza also placed sixth in air rifle at the Patriot Rifle Conference Championships, earning all-conference honors. Early in the season, D'Souza shot a 599 in air rifle, tying as the ninth best mark in the nation this season.

D'Souza earned second-team CRCA air rifle All-America honors last season. She is the 17^th shooter in school history to earn All-America honors in consecutive seasons.
