Ava Gilliana Wraps up NCAA Debut at West Prelim

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Air Force junior middle distance runner Ava Gilliana wrapped up her NCAA debut this evening (May 25) during the first round of the 800-meter championships at the West Preliminary in Sacramento. Registering the second-fastest time of her career with a 2:08.67 finish, Gilliana placed seventh in her heat and matched her entry seed (38th) in the overall field.

Air Force returns to Hornet Stadium tomorrow (May 26) for the second day of men's competition at the NCAA West Preliminary.
