Air Force football television schedule announced
Air Force has eight games selected for national telecasts as part of the Mountain West television schedule, announced today by the league. The conference announced 47 games selected for national telecasts with 30 on CBS Sports Networks and 17 on Fox Sports Networks.
Air Force opens conference play on Friday, Sept. 15, as the Falcons host Utah State on CBS Sports Network with a 6 pm kickoff at Falcon Stadium. The Falcons will play back-to-back Friday games with a Sept. 22 game at San Jose State on FS1 at 7:30 pm PT.
The Falcons return home by hosting San Diego State on Saturday, Sept. 30, at 6 pm MT on CBSSN. After an open date, Air Force hosts Wyoming on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 5 pm MT at Falcon Stadium.
Air Force will begin defense of its Commander-in-Chief's Trophy at Navy (Oct. 21) on CBS at 12 pm ET. The Falcons play consecutive road games with a league battle at Colorado State (Oct. 28) on CBSSN at 5 pm MT.
The second leg of the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy will be televised on CBSSN with a 12:30 pm MT kickoff as the Falcons host Army, Saturday, Nov. 4, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. After a road game at Hawai'I, the home schedule closes out against UNLV on Saturday, Nov. 18, with a 1:30 pm MT kickoff on CBSSN. The regular season concludes on a Friday afternoon at Boise State, Nov. 24, at 2 pm MT on FS1.
Additionally, Air Force's first road game of the season will be televised nationally as part of the Conference USA television package. Air Force will face Sam Houston (Sept. 9) at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, on CBS Sports Network with a 7 pm CT kickoff.
Air Force's season opener against Robert Morris (Sept. 2) and the game at Hawai'I (Nov. 11) will have kickoff times and television information released at a later date.
