Air Force Men Head To MW Tennis Fall Qualifier

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis heads to the first-ever Mountain West Tennis Fall Qualifier, held Oct. 2-5, at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The MW Tennis Fall Qualifier is one of four qualifying tournaments into the new NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships, held Nov. 19-24 in Waco, Texas. The top four singles players and three doubles teams qualify for the NCAA Championships. The NCAA team championships remains in the Spring.

The format for the qualifier will be single elimination singles and doubles draws. The doubles draw will be 16 groups and the singles draw will be 32 players. There is also one consolation round with quarterfinal shootout included.

Air Force will have Jack Brown, Phillip Deaton, Alec Fritzinger and Arjun Kersten competing in singles and doubles. Kersten is the number two seed in singles and Kersten and Brown are the number four seed in doubles.
