Huntington led Falcons on final day in Hawaii

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Sophomore Eli Huntington led the Air Force golf team on the final day of the Kapolei Invitational, Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Kapolei Golf Course in Oahu.
Huntington shot a 71 (-1) on the final day, making four birdies. He has been at par or under in eight of his last 10 rounds. Over 54 holes, he tied for 21st overall with a 220 (+4).
Senior Cameron Kahle shot a 77 in the final round and finished the tournament at 227. Junior Alvaro Fonseca also shot a 77 in the final round and finished at 235. Junior Ted Davenport shot 78 on the final day for a score of 235. Junior Eric Liveringhouse shot 84 on the final day for a 54-hole score of 239. Sophomore Carson Baker, competing as an individual, shot 75 in the final round and finished the tournament at 225 (+9).
Miami (Ohio) was the only team under par and won the tournament with a 54-hole team score of 857 (-7). San Diego was second at 870 and the host school, Hawaii, was third at 873. Air Force placed 15th with a 912.
Air Force's fall season has concluded. The Falcons return to action at the Nick Watney Invitational, Feb. 24-25, in Fresno, Calif.
